  21. a courier modem of any speed as long as its not a courier 2400 and
  22. you can buy a new v.34 for $249 or if its a daughtercard model its $199
  23. for a new card. just call thier bbs at 708 982 5092 and type tradein at
  24. the main menu to place your order..

  26. restrains requested means how many times the remote modem retrained
  27. restrains granted means how many times the remote modem asked for a retrain
  28. i think... if remote modem retrains and the sender modem grants it it
  29. necessarily doesnt add 1 to restrains granted.

  31. fallback is somewhat different then retrain i think? and fallback disabled
  32. just means that the modems did not fallback in the last connection

  36. you might want to try to get a more updated rom might help things or try
  37. your modem out with other modems but the best advice i can give is get
  38. that v.32bis courier modem you got and trade it in and get a courier
  39. v.34 at a deep discount...
